‘THE LIFE’ TRILOGY

Three Artworks. Six Dots. Infinite Interpretations.

THE LIFE trilogy invites you into a quiet, profound conversation. At first glance, you see only dots—but these simple forms carry profound philosophical insights. They ask you to pause, step closer, and see beyond the visible. Each dot holds a secret, waiting to be revealed with nothing more than a magnifying glass and your willingness to explore.

This trilogy is my debut into the art world—a personal exploration of simplicity and meaning, confronting the AI-driven digital age with intentional minimalism. In a time when technology can instantly generate art, these works stand as a defiant reminder of the depth that comes from reflection and exploration. Created in 2022, each piece—The Dot, The Life, and The Unseen—emerged from a journey shaped by trauma, healing, and a redefined philosophy of life. Composed of six dots and two colors, these works hold an entire universe of hidden meanings.

Initially crafted as animated GIFs that revealed their layers through zoom, this evolution inspired me to bring them into the physical world as printed works. Now, through a magnifying glass, you can discover these concealed meanings more intimately and tactilely.

I invite you to explore these pieces with me—slow down, look closely, and see beyond the surface. Let these dots guide you to where simplicity meets complexity, the mundane becomes extraordinary, and art reflects life. What will you uncover in their depths?

THE DOT

A dot—so simple, yet so profound. We encounter it daily: ending sentences, forming lines and figures, and symbolizing the digital age. Yet rarely do we consider a dot as a complete artwork in itself. I believe a dot holds infinite potential, embodying deeply personal meanings for each observer.

Despite stunning dot compositions by renowned artists like Damien Hirst and Yayoi Kusama, none have focused on a single dot—the origin of all their creations. This realization led me to spotlight the solitary dot in my work, allowing it to hold hidden meanings and become a space for metaphorical exploration, all without altering its literal size.

In the chaos of everyday life, the dot remains a constant, quietly anchoring our communication and creativity. It is the genesis of creation, a microcosm of the universe. In its smallness, it carries the vastness of thoughts, dreams, and philosophies. Each dot is a pause, a moment of introspection, a gateway to infinity. This is where my journey as an artist begins—where the idea, deep within the subconscious, is born, and where my reflections on life converge. For me, the dot symbolizes both an end and a beginning.

This very dot marked the end of my personal journey to self-discovery, spanning 45 years, and the beginning of my path as an artist. When magnified, the dot unveils hidden layers of meaning—my creative manifesto—within its simplicity, inviting you to explore its depths just as I have explored my own.

THE LIFE

‘The Life’ is depicted by two dots—birth and death, two extremes in black and white. Birth, the first dot, and death, the last, frame our life path. This stark simplicity reflects the duality of existence, with black and white forming the foundation for a symbolic exploration of the perpetual tension between darkness and light.

The black dot, dense with life’s struggles, shadows, and challenges, stands in contrast to the white dot, which reflects moments of peace, clarity, and triumph. Though distinct, these dots engage in a silent conversation, mirroring the push and pull of life’s contrasts.

Between these extremes lies a gray area—both metaphorically in our lives and literally within this composition. Though imperceptible at first glance, magnification reveals this gray zone at the center. Within this space, ‘The Life’ reflects our reality: the place where complexity and truth intersect and the richness of human experience resides.

In this gray space, we search for meaning, answers, and a deeper understanding of our existence. By engaging with this piece and using magnification to uncover the hidden depths within the dots, I encourage you to discover your own personal shade of truth, meaning, and happiness amid these contrasts.

THE UNSEEN

The Unseen symbolizes the vast, uncharted territories of our cognition. A single dot invites you to explore, while three dots—forming an ellipsis—suggest endless possibilities, a journey that never truly ends.

I deliberately leave the meaning of these dots open, encouraging you to pause and reflect. The space between mindfulness and discovery lies at the heart of The Unseen.

Like my other works, The Unseen holds a hidden layer beneath its simplicity, waiting to be uncovered. Upon magnifying the dots, the wisdom of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince quietly emerges, inviting you to look beyond what is visible and discover the truths that reside deep within.

This piece challenges you to explore the mysteries within the ordinary and recognize that reality is woven with invisible threads of meaning. Through The Unseen, I invite you to engage with the unknown, find beauty in what is hidden, and uncover your unique truths that can only be revealed through careful observation and curiosity.
